§ 1.04.030. Notice required by ordinance.

  • Whenever in any ordinance or section thereof a notice is required or authorized to be given by any officer or person, such notice shall be construed to be a personal notice, and may be either verbal, written or printed, or partly written and printed, at the election of the officer or person who shall give the same, unless in the ordinance or section thereof, the form, manner and method of giving such notice shall be otherwise prescribed, and in all cases where any ordinance or section thereof shall require any act to be done in a reasonable time or reasonable notice to be given to any person, such reasonable time or notice shall be deemed to be such only as shall be necessary in the proper execution of such duty, or compliance with such notice.
