§ 2.24.010. Duties.

The Treasurer shall receive all moneys belonging to the corporation, and shall keep the books and accounts in such manner as to show with entire accuracy, all moneys received by him or her, from whom received and on what account; and of all moneys paid out by him or her, and to whom paid and on what account they shall have been paid; and in such manner that said books may readily be understood and investigated; which books and accounts shall always be subject to the inspection of any member of the Council or Mayor.
