§ 2.40.090. Firefighters and firefighters emeritus.

All active city firefighters shall be charged monthly the minimum two thousand (2000) gallon water rate for their personal residential consumption of water up to and including the first ten thousand (10,000) gallons of actual consumption of water. All former city firefighters who retired after April 2, 1973, and before August 1, 1988, with twenty-five (25) years or more of active service and all former city firefighters who retired on or after August 1, 1988, with twenty (20) years of active service shall be charged monthly the minimum two thousand (2000) gallon water rate for their personal residential consumption of water up to and including the first ten thousand (10,000) gallons of actual consumption of water.
